As a new raid leader I would like to get some input from creeps.
I've been told that I upset some people with things that I have done. For example tonight in TR. Tried distracting the tyrant, it failed. We bailed out north wall and the tyrant ran down the stairs outside with us along with many other NPCs. We persisted on killing everything that came down and noticed the tyrant was with it so we killed that as well. What did we do wrong here?
If my numbers are greater than yours I WILL push a red keep.*
If my numbers are even I WILL try open fielding. Wanting the most fair fight away from keeps, away from map points, and away from rez circles. If you guys obviously have more healers, or vise versa and an open field ends up with a continuous wipe after wipe for one side, I do not expect you to keep coming back, and you shouldnt either.*
If my numbers are lesser than yours I WILL expect you to come to me. Whether you are pushing into my keep and you wipe, the numbers are still the same and we expect you to push again unless we gain more.*
*I will do my best to take into account the ungrouped people on my side, and I damn well expect you to do the same. If we go to a keep to get a tracked number, and we track 23 and you have 16 in your raid and I have 20, I am not pushing and I do not expect you to do that either. We need to find a medium in these situations, and thats what I am here to do.
This is a learning process for me and I know its the same for you. I know this is a war, but when you boil it all down its a video game. We want to make the most fun out of it, for both sides. I am here to make the most fun for my side first, and yours second. I expect you to do the same. If I am leading and make a mistake you damn well better wipe us. If you make a mistake I will do my best to try and do the same to you.
If you are trying to take/ninja a keep and I catch you and wipe you, don't claim that as being in my keep fighting because you set yourself up for that fight. If I am doing the same thing and you wipe us, I wont come here and flame you for fighting in your keep when its even/outnumbered odds.
I can guarantee you that my raids will not exploit. If I see someone corpse jumping I will put an end to it because I do not tolerate it. I am all about respecting my opponents, and to earn respect you have to give it.
I realize when taking the reigns of leading you are going to create enemies in the process, and it seems I already have. Although again, this is a video game. Just play it to have fun, and when you get frustrated/upset, just log off for the night. Why voluntarily keep yourself in a position to where you get so frustrated that you end up bashing other people? Just play the game to have fun.
