What happens when you're outnumbered 3 to 1, you have a tired raid leader, and you can't get anything done without instant creepification? This...

So, the day started out relatively well. We had Lugz, we were running around getting kills on a good rate, and it seemed to be turning into a decent day. We rode up to Isen and flipped it, took an outpost, wiped a creep attempt at Lugz, and swung around and took LC and SOP. The idea was to make the map as blue as possible. We pushed into TA, were swarmed, and wiped...and then the violent storm kicked up.
It's pretty much a blur of wipe and facepalm after wipe and facepalm. I remember riding the raid up to take the north outpost and saw 3 other outposts go flip back to creep control at roughly the same time. Then the camps fell. Then...we were completely overrun at Lugz.
So we picked ourselves up and went right back out there to try something else. We headed out to the west...and we were caught...and we wiped. Okay, so then we went out to the east...and were caught...and were wiped. Starting to see a trend here? It gets worse. We wiped in Isen before we ever got the tyrant pulled. We wiped on Candy Mountain shortly thereafter. We even wiped in the BV/XR area.

It got so bad that I started dedicating wipes to people not unlike a DJ spinning some beats. Even combining groups of freep raids there still wasn't enough to even so much as hold them much less take anything. Probably the only truly fun fight ended up at the Plains Outpost until we were again overrun by overwhelming force.
I guess to sum it all up in a night little package...tonight sucked!
Yet for some reason people said it was a fun raid. Go figure! :D
Also...I guess that Meli loremaster person also ranked to 8 or something.........and there was much rejoicing.
