iam new on this board i dont know how to search because my english isnt good

my first question:
i got an beta key from curse.com and registered on turbine.
when i manage my turbine account there is ,, Subscription Plan " and it says free period.
what does it mean? can i play free as long as i want to? and are there really no fees? ist this only for america or for europe too?
i am downloading from lotro.com and registered on https://myaccount.turbine.com/ so am i able to play from germany?
