On April 1, 2010 a curious item arrived in my mailbox. It was a letter that claimed to bestow the quest, "The Fox in the Hen House" when it was used! I had missed out on the quest the last time it was offered because I wasn't on before the quest basically broke the game (or so I hear). When I clicked on the item this year, I realized that it was nothing more than an April Fool's joke! Or an error in automatically sent mail that was never removed. Just for the sake of having a bit of fun, I decided to log onto Bullroarer that night and try out the quest. I was able to accept the quest, enter the chicken session play, and gain the title of "Fool"! It didn't work on the live servers, but my hope remained that someday I would be able to acquire the rare title.
So I saved the letter. Every few weeks I removed it from my bank and clicked on it in an attempt to pick up the quest. Four months later, after a long night in the Ettenmoors with a few of my kinmates, I clicked on the item. And....

Something miraculous happened. I was able to pick up the quest and turn it in to the Town Crier.

I entered the Ettenmoors, which was all blue and relatively empty (5 AM Est. on Firefoot!)

I even met with a friend, just to make sure I didn't run into any trouble!

I unfortunately did not take a screenshot as I completed the instance because I thought that I had to run up the stairs into GV. When I reached the top of the hill, it told me that I had completed the session play and would exit in a few seconds.
I was booted out of the instance and arrived back in my housing neighborhood. But what did I discover? No title! And when I checked my quest log, the quest was not marked as completed nor was it still active. I no longer had the item that I had been holding onto, and I saw no option to retry the quest again...
So maybe the game didn't want me to complete "The Fox in the Hen House," but I did. If I'm going to be played for a fool, I should at least have the "Fool" title! Let's make some magic happen...
