Disclaimer: it is not Turbines fault that most MMO players are morons that I would not trust with the safe disposal of a burnt match if I left them in the middle of a one acre concrete parking lot during a heavy rainstorm.
However....
In this instance Turbine has shown that they are not as smart as a 5th grader.
I had just finished reinstalling LotRO and logged in to Landroval. I dropped by the Pony just in time to see two hobbits harassing an elven lass who was asking them to stop it (so far none of this is Turbines fault). Then the two pecks decided to spam the Pony with a "Roar" emote, one that has a loud audio component. They did it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.....
Anyone with half a brain would have thought to put a cooldown on this emote, as the potential for abuse should be obvious to anyone with the cognitive abilities of my boot heels. I gave up on trying to find any role playing and went out to kill things, the morons won that round.
