This is just an opinion thread about how the new Helegrod sets compare to the BG one.
The Helegrod set has 86 Less Might, 17 less agility, 65 less fate, 15 less Vitality, 288 less Morale
The Helegrod set has 92 more will, 100 more power, 94 more ICMR.
So Turbine took a small step in the right direction by giving us a nice power boost with the new set, but we're loosing a lot of morale, and the loss of agility and fate will hurt a lot. Agility I can see us making up for it easily, and maybe with these so called stat tombs we could possibly make up for the loss of fate?
Stats aside, what makes the Helegrod set extremely awesome is the set bonuses. -2.5s on Swift bow cool down and -1.5seconds on Penetrating Shot sounds pretty cool. I haven't done the math, but getting 2x the Penshots by itself will makes me assume that it's more DPS than the BG set. The only thing I'm concernd about is Focus. Now with our new skill Blood Arrow,(Fast, 3focus skill - 2w/strong draw traited) I'm not exactly sure how we'll be able to keep up our focus requirements when we only have time to get off 1 QS between every PS.
As it is right now, traiting Deadly Precision always keeps me fully focused while using an aggressive shot rotation. (PS+ROA off every time they're off CD) Will traiting Enduring Precision and staying in S:P Balance out the focus requirements? (assuming you take RoA off your rotation and incorporate BlA and PS every time they're off CD)
So basically I'm asking you guys this:
1) Stat wise would you prefer the Helgrod over the BG set? why or why not?
2) Which one of the 2 set bonuses do you think is superior? The +ranged offense and Swift bow buff from the BG set or the CDs from the Hele set?
3) When having the 6/6 of the Helegrod set how do you think you'll be able to keep up the focus requirements of getting off your shot rotation? (if you will/wont be using BlA or RoA, explain)
So, thoughts? Comments? (first thread don't hate too badly ;) )
