LOTRO Free? question..

Hi. i used to play LOTRO when you had to pay for it. i got the Shadows of angmar and the Moria compliation pack. i was just wondering can i use my old log in and my old chars from when i used to play to play now with the free game. and do i get unlimited access for purchasing the game and playing before? im not to sure. any help would be greatly appreciated.
