Here's a random idea that I had while adventuring this afternoon:
It would be nice if there were housing skins available to players (perhaps available through the store? or through woodworkers?) where they could change the outside of their house. As an example, I can think of at least 3 different looks for the hobbit houses already:
*the standard kind we have right now
*a brown wood-panel house similar to what they have in Woodhall
*a stone house like the house northwest of Woodhall
The actual size and build of the houses doesn't have to change, just change the texture of the outside of the house and maybe the color of any windowbox flowers/shutters/trim.
This would give each individual neighborhood a slightly unique look, and allow players a little more customization as well, if housing is reworked at some point in the future.
