For all of those stating that you should get all of the content because you purchased Mines of Moria or Siege or Mirkwood, I am sorry to say that you are wrong.
Lets go back to a time before F2P.
Let's say I go out and buy Mines of Moria.
Now with that purchase, I get 30 days of free play (which is now called 30 days of VIP access). But, if those 30 days ran out and I didn't subscribe, what happened? I wasn't even able to log in at all. Period. End of story. If I wanted to keep playing AT ALL, I had to subscribe. Period. I didn't get pushed back to a Premium player or a free-trial player. I lost access to the game.
Ok, now lets move forward to post-F2P.
I go out and I buy Mines of Moria.
I get the 30 days of access as a VIP, BUT when those 30 days are up, I can still play! I just don't have access to all of the content. If I want access, I either have to subscribe (same as before) or pay for it in the store. Or, I can grind Turbine Points and hope to get enough to pay for the packages. But, like I said, I can still play!!
In essence, nothing has really changed. Packages have just been re-worded and re-marketed. If you want access, you still have to pay for it, there's just more options for that now instead of just shelling out $10-$15 a month.
Understand now?
