Hey everyone, today I found a new game called Haven & Hearth. This is a game about survival, and the skills necessary to survive. Your character will start as what seems like a caveman, but slowly and surely you can begin to build houses, claim land, and even start a village. So far, I'm still learning a lot from this game but I've found a nice quiet spot in the forest.
Some stuff about the game.
Graphics are 2d, and are pretty nice in my opinion. Not like OMG THIS IS AMAZING!...but I still like them. About the same if not a bit better than Tibia. For a browser/java game though, its a lot better than most. Game is click to move.
You need food (as you get hungry) and water. Food is the most important things to get in the beginning. Also, stats raise as you use eat certain types of food...and you raise/train skills with training points. You get training points by crafting stuff, or killing things.
AND! There is perma death. Though, if you die, you keep most of your skills and if you own buildings, you keep them too.

And as I said in the opening paragraph, you can build (like buildings and stuff) and change the landscape of the world. Cut down trees, build farms, fish . too many things to do to list them all.

The game is in alpha stages. In result, its not finished, it can be laggy (if you can't handle lag, stay away)...(so Ive heard) its made by two college kids, and they made this game in their free time. In result, they don't have a lot of money for better servers. Maybe later the lag will be improved...but the game is fun enough for me to stick with the game.

Join my kinship/camp :D In the starting area where you make your character, there is an NPC on the very top right that lets you enter a password (Hearth Secret).
enter "Explorium" (not sure if capitalization is needed or not) and you'll join my kinship, and you'll end up where my camp is. Don't have to of course, you can go your own path...but if you want to team up with someone, I'm looking for people who want to help make a camp and what not. I already have a friend who is going to join my camp too. We can also chat and I can help you and stuff...of course, I'm sort of new to the game too...so...we'll learn stuff together. :) Always the Wikia. But, like I said, you can always go your own path.
If you choose to not start in my camp, use the password (Hearth Secret) "monkey"...this takes you to a safe, unbuilt area.
the area you start in without a password is OVERCROWDED, and you probably won't have nearly as much fun. Too many buildings and stuff in the starting area.

If you want your character added to my list of people part of my camp, reply here with your character name(s). Do note, I need to set permissions for each person for them to go in the log cabin and use containers. So, if you plan on being a part of the camp, let me know and Ill give you permissions to be able to do stuff in the camp.

-Vendayn (leader/founder. My job is a little bit of each, I do some building and a bit of crafting. Im aiming to be a farmer, though. My primary job is mostly to get food and stuff.)
-Zeddy (Vendayn's personal friend. He is a crafter, he makes items for everyone. Items like containers, clothes, tools, etc )
-Zarakis (Zenem from BBGsite. He is our forager/explorer/survivalist. And he wants to raise farm animals too, specifically, sheep. Right now, he has helped quite a bit with making some useful items and foraging for herbs/seeds/other plants.)
