Help! or maybe just pointers.

So, I'm cruising around the Mirkeves the other night and I chance across a named warg-rider (M-something??). I see that his picture isn't all rainbow colored like other dangerous mobs are. And I say to myself, "He's likely a mob you kill for a quest. Let's get him anyway, cause I'm bored.".

Well, after three tries (and three "Run away!!"), I gave up trying to slay him and left Mirkwood to go pick-on brigands in Oatbarton.

Now, I'm no Waden (yet, maybe) but I consider myself a fair to good tank. I've main tanked GS till Igash (champ wanted to do CC or something), about half GS quest mode (guard and I traded off on the pulls), Mirror-halls (2.5 manned it) and Turtle. I plan to hit the Mirkwood instances for rad gear, though I may wait for the f2p updated armor.

Would I be able to get some pointers to improve my gameplay? I am currently traited full spear w/ masteries and usually run in Recklessness, though Elite pulls I'll move to Conservation.

I've got for my weapons (from memory):
2nd age lv60 sword - onslaught, +jav toss
3rd age lv59 jav - conserve regen, +CoS, -ambush
2nd age lv60 jav - conserve regen, +conviction, careful step duration
I've got a few more good legacies on them, but I'm away from the game right now.

I trait Innocence, the 2 +vit traits, wisdom and the big +agi trait(though that is a placeholder). Thanks in advance
