I've pointed this out once before a couple years ago but I guess people have forgotten or chosen to ignore.
There are no true/traditional healer classes in this game. None.
I've played every major mmo since eq and for all of turbines faults the one thing that they did better than any other game in history as far as I know is to make very unique classes. Besides the guardian, and maybe the hunter, the classes in this game are unlike any other games.
The minstrel, a class I am intimate with, is not a true healer. They are support/buffing class. I could delve into all the buffs that minstrels can bring to a group (if properly traited {you watchcer of resolves minis should hang it up}) but you can look it up yourself in the lore book. The fact that minstrels get greif from fellow freeps for not healing is laughable. I also have a 65RK and know for an absolute fact that pound for pound, when it comes to pure healing, the RK outheals the minstrel. This has been proven time and time again but like the "where are the WMD's?" argument, it still lingers for God only knows why. If you are going to gripe in raid about minis being in warspeech you need to do AT LEAST two things first to avoid vulgar hipocrosy:
1) Tell every RK and cappy to trait for heals.
2) Play a minstrel in the moors and only heal in raids for at least a week and see how incredibly boring and unrewarding it is.
Every now and then its fun to trait for heals and try to see how long it takes before you're silenced and dead.
Personally I healed in raid my entire way to rank 9. I did my time so if you have a problem with me being in warspeech you may, and i mean this in the most polite way possible, go get a cranial tapeworm cyst from under cooked pork chops and die of hemoraging in the brain.
Have a blessed day.
