Since we all know that we are pretty much going to Isengard for our next major expansion, i thought id take a minute to discuss just in what time frame we will get there and what will be waiting for us....
Scenario 1 : We get there and the Ents have already destroyed it, which means post battle. We would be left to clean up and rebuild i guess, not very interesting, or possibly fight off some remaining evil.
Scenario 2 (mostly the brainchild of my mind, so bear with me): What if we get there and Isengard is still operational ? We get there with scores of orcs/uruks/goblins, Saruman still in power, etc......(wait what ? we would stand no chance !!!!!..........exactly.) Hear me out....how interesting would it be to actually LOSE ? We show up not knowing the full strength, fight all our fights(3 mans, 6 mans maybe a 12 man raid against a high end Uruk Lieutenant ?) Then with the final book chapter storming the tower only to come face to face with Saruman himself, but before he gets a chance to end us for good, the ents or someone else rescue us.
Thoughts on the inner processings of my mind would be appreciated. :)
