Skirmish Newb needs help starting

Just coming back to the game after a long absence.. loving it all over again :)

So how do I begin the skirmish? I have a level 60 minstrel..


I looked over the info above, but still don't quite understand...

After I begin (however I do that) I can go "herbalist" and improve my healing abilities???

With the "marks" can I trade them in for things???


Any info would be appreciated..
