Upon recommendation I got my starter LI at level 45. I've been reading a lot of guides and they have been incredibly helpful, but I still have a few questions.
The bow identified as:
Induction Bow Critical Multiplier
Induction Bow Power Cost
Strength Quick Shot Slow
Merciful Shot Cooldown
I'm not sure if this is good or not. Are these legacies decent for a starter LI? Is the starter LI important, or is it just another quest item and I should be saving relics for other LIs? The reason I ask is because I've only been playing for two months so all of this is new to me. Some of the guides don't go into detail on what to do after getting your starter LI. What I mean is, should I "deck" it all out and have it be my primary bow, or ditch it (if that's an option) and get an unidentified bow later on with hopes of getting something I want - like the Barbed Arrow legacy.
Speaking of getting legacies I want / use. The bow itself is wonderful for my current play style IMO. I decided to do consistent DPS while conserving power. The induction legacies are nice and I often use Merciful Shot when soloing. I'm rarely in Strength stance, though. My traits are:
Deadly Precision
Enduring Precision
Fast Draw
Strong Draw
Swift & True
Are there certain legacies to put points in first, like DPS? Regarding relics, are there certain must-have relics that I should lookout for once I start collecting them?
I guess what it all comes down to is:
For how long should I use my starter LI bow and should I spend time on it with relics and ranking it up?
Off-topic:
I'm level 46 at the moment (just leveled a while ago) and I've been working on gear. What gear would you guys recommend for me that'll last until Moria? I have the Fem armor right now, but is there something better? How about crafted armor?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and for the help!
[Edit]:
I almost forgot! Is there such thing as a starter melee LI?
