Welcome to my first rant.
So there's an ***ton of lag in Enedwaith, especially around the Hobbit village and in the wolf den. Now normally I would bug such things, except that the /bug reporting tool is very clunky. My frustration level with this game is reaching an all time high, combined with the rough-shod implementation of the store, TPs, and all the store advertisements all over LotRO, buggy dynamic instance layering going on, and deaths because of lag-based fights (wolf den I am looking at you), especially because of those deaths.
My girlfriend who is a total nub when it comes to MMO's, and was giving me a hard time about gaming, was just starting to enjoy this game, but is now reaching the same level of frustration with lag as well. Do you get me??...my girlfriend....was enjoying....the game, which means I could now enjoy the game...! It *was* winnnn!
Regarding the /bug reporting tool, I had a long list of complaints about it but then I decided to test it out again just now and it seems you have cleaned it up recently to make it much more easier to report. That is a big plus. Still kind of dumb though, that I have to log in to use the bug reporting tool, since I am already logged into the game.... So now, yes, I'll start /bug-ging stuff again.
As an FYI, this game is gradually becoming not worth it for me with your force-fed "game experience may change during online play" business strategy, and I have found my escapism in Mass Effect 2 recently as a result, amazing game. For MMOs, I was contemplating SWTOR, when it comes out next year, but those cartoon graphics are daaaaammmmnnnn fugly, so you win this MMO round LotRO... ><
So, the big question is, is the Enedwaith lag being looked into, and in general, the lag everywhere? I haven't seen mention of it being addressed, especially in the Bullroarer patch notes. It's like a start/stop lag, and the game just freezes up, then starts again, not really rubber-banding. And there is a new one that happened the other day by the main Algraig village, where I just froze up on movement only, I could turn, I could chat, I could look at my inventory, I just couldn't move; that same thing happened to a minstrel in Annuminas skirmish, Haudh Valindil.
